Ouch, 3,000 words is about the limit of any of my completed fic. Unless you count the one's I wrote as self contained chapters, I do have two that are considerably longer that i have literally been working on for years,and I suspect will never finish.
You'll do it, we'll all do it and they'll be lots of highlander fics to read at the end of it :0).
