Fractured Thoughts

I passed my viva the other day, nice to know the last 4 years of my life weren't a complete waste of time. So now I just have to write a few corrections  for my thesis and then I can call myself doctor. Most of the corrections are already done they were annoying things like spelling mistakes and and putting spaces between numbers and units, (because of course that is the most important part of my work, ha). 

It is I suppose the end of an era though  as  I am still working for the same lab group not a lot will change, (except the letters after my name I suppose) but after spending the last 23 years in education of some description I am finished as a student. Just for the record I am never doing that again. I'm hoping if I ever suggest doing another degree someone will bash some sense into me.
